Our Story Started With Frustration
Back in 2018, I was running a small consulting practice here in Cairns and drowning in spreadsheets. Every financial advisor I met spoke a different language — full of jargon that didn't translate to my day-to-day reality.
My partner Rosalind was dealing with the same thing in her retail business. We'd sit at our kitchen table, surrounded by receipts and bank statements, wondering why something so fundamental felt so complicated.
That's when we realized the problem wasn't us. Traditional finance education was built for accountants and bankers, not for the people who actually needed to use it every day. We started teaching ourselves, then our friends, then anyone who'd listen.
